School has begun, and I’ve started back on one my jobs. I am going to have to set aside time to work though, because getting distracted is too easy. The plan for now is to work Fridays at the other job since it will pay less, and I don’t do much anyways while I’m there.
I’ve been doing some of the puzzles on projecteuler.net, and I’m currently at 15% genius (which I think means that I’ve done 15% of the problems… I’ve done 25). I probably would not have been able to do if not for the classes I had as a Computer Science major. If my advisor had been easier to deal with, I would probably still be in the program, but I guess I wouldn’t have this job if I was still in it, so things have worked out so far. I really do enjoy logic puzzles like this, and especially when I can put utilize my programming skills.
I’m taking one of the final courses for CIS majors at LCU, even though I may not graduate until 2009. I’ve actually been chosen to be a leader of a group, which ought to be fun. I don’t think I’ll do a bad job, because I expect a lot more out of myself when I’m in charge, and I hate letting people down. Sometimes though, I’d prefer to let someone else take leadership. It’s just too stressful at times. Since I’m the leader, I’ve got to talk to a lady about the System we’re supposed to design.
